We Japanese tend to be very attentive to the people around us. For example, we keep our voices low in public places such as trains and buses so as not to bother others. Also, we are basically friendly to people from other countries. Although we cannot speak that much English, they try to communicate with us somehow.

②conservative

Japanese people are relatively conservative. I find this to be especially true in the areas of love. Many Japanese men are shy about expressing affection and approaching the opposite sex. That is why they are all so serious and diligent.

③Use “sorry” a lot.

In restaurants, workplaces, etc., “すいません”, which means sorry, is often used to address customers or superiors. It is used when you ask someone for something or when they do something for you. In such cases, you say, ” すいません、ありがとうございます”. , which means I’m sorry, thank you. It may be that the person is saying “すいません” because he or she feels sorry to have the other person do something for him or her. In Japan, “sorry” is more like “Excuse me” than “sorry. Or rather in Japanese, “すいません” has both the meanings of “sorry” and “excuse me,” so you have to distinguish between the two depending on the context. Japanese people have respect for other people.
